If you’ve been keeping up this week, you’ve already seen this and read my review of the new paint I tried for this project. In short: a big “thumbs up” for Satin Impervo. Try it! Since we’ve already discussed this paint, I won’t write much here. I’m just here to unload photos on you.
This desk was picked up last summer and has been acting as a large sawhorse in my workshop for the past 4ish months. I had a huge piece of plywood on it and used it as a work surface. Right now we are working on clearing out the garage as fast as possible with the intention of hanging 1, possibly 2 more booths. To prepare, I have been selling a few things as-is and working on getting others done as quickly as possible. AND I’M TRYING REALLY HARD NOT TO ACQUIRE NEW INVENTORY.
I was skeptical of this bulky style, but with a bright coat of paint, I feel like the bulkiness is forgotten. Plus, this has built in filing space – who couldn’t use something like that?
Let’s just go ahead and state the obvious. There is some OP going on in that surface. I’m okay with it though for this sheen.
No, my chippendale chair is not for sale.
Thanks for reading!
