I’m happy to finally be sharing a project makeover on the blog. I finished a few small and hand painted projects so far this year, but all were custom, and I wasn’t inspired to blog about any of them.
This time last year, guess how many furniture makeovers I completed? 6 in April and 9 in May – those were my busiest months. Unfortunately, this year, the weather here in Seattle is absolutely terrible. We’ve had a few days of Spring-like weather, but here we are 2/3 way through Spring and it’s still cold, gray, and rainy most days. It’s depressing and frustrating for my little business that depends so much on the climate! It’s a miracle I was able to finish this piece during the few warm-ish days that we’ve had. We better have summer until November 1st….that’s all I can say.
This credenza is custom and not for sale, but it’s such a beautiful transformation and I figured some of you would be interested in checking out the before/after.
Here is the piece when it arrived in my workshop:
And here it is today. I’m not proud of these photos that are meh, at best….due to the unending gloom, but you get the idea.
At least peonies have arrived at Trader Joe’s!
Have a great rest of the week.
Thanks for reading,
